I have also been around the country riding and racing my bike (witch I got from Tom) and no body else has the kind of personable service that Tom offers. Most businesses are about making money, well apparently Tom didn't go to business school because he definitely doesn't care about making money. He will do everything in his power to get you your parts for as cheap as possible and sometimes he doesn't even charge for walk in tune ups. In my experience of bringing my bike to a shop to have it tuned up very rarely do I leave 100% satisfied with the work done on my bike. However when I bring my bike to Tom I know that it will come out riding smooth and to my liking. If you want your shifting stiffer and faster he will do that for you, if you want it smoother and cleaner he can make it happen, he can even make it smooth and fast. I have never seen a shop owner put so much heart and sole in to their job. Tom is in the bike business to share his passion and love for bikes with people who have the same passion and intensity for riding. If you don't have that kind of passion I still recommend this man and his shop because he is the bomb!!!!
This place is great. He's always so helpful and so thorough. He's not out to rip anyone off. He truly wants to see the right people on the right bike and he's just full of knowledge. I will only buy any future bikes and/or bike accessories from Tom's Bike Boutique!
My brother and I have been using Tom and his expertise for many years. He is knowledgeable and cheerful and has always had solutions for the many bikes we ride, Calfee, Crumpton, Parlee, Cannondale! No issue has not been fixed
